Cannot believe the bad reviews, I absolutely LOVE this film. I'm so annoyed by the reviews that I'll elaborate. Great soundtrack: Pete's dragon has some of the most memorable songs of any Disney film.
A wonderful, touching storyline and great characters, who range from disgusting and ridiculous, to hilarious, to adorable (i.e. the dragon). It IS quite a long film, but I have never once felt bored while watching it.
Oh, and I don't usually give long reviews, but Pete's Dragon deserves more than 50%, and I found that really irritating, so I ranted for a while :).
