Review of Peter Rabbit (2018) by David G — 07 Jun 2018
Perfectly balanced action, comedy, animation, 4-th wall breaking, and deep meaning, while being fluffy and furry on the outside for kids to hug all the time, it has deeper messages and jokes along to the more adolescent.
It uses popular songs with care and ease, along with a large spoon of humour, situational and meta at once.
The acting of the real life counterparts are marvelous considering they didn't even see what they were interacting with, yet made it so believable yet still cartoon-ish that it stands to be a live action and a kidsbook at the same time with different moments.
You might get lost in the tempo, or get bored and miss all the corny jokes, yet it's still a movie that I will not forget.
