Review of Peter Pan (1953) by Infrarecon — 17 May 2023
After Rating the Recent Live action movie, I started watching the original Peter Pan movie. Still to this day, it is an excellent watch.
While at some points of the animation, it can be very still(Nothing is happening besides talking), the rest of the film is fun, sometimes when Captain Hook is on the screen you feel a sense of dread and fear.
Other than that, the film is charming, well animated and just overall lovely to view, all the characters are interesting, and you can understand from the get-go the personalities of each character. Absolutely wonderful, how Disney screwed up the live-action film(Well I know how)is beyond science.
I am a Sucker for animation, I grew up we these and while for this review I am not relying on Nostalgia, I actually compared the scenes from the original to the Live Action.
The original animation is Vastly Superior.
I will definitely make sure that my children watch these when they are still young so they can just have the best memories of animated films possible.
