Review of Pet Sematary (1989) by Matthew R — 12 Oct 2012
It tackles issues in regards to death everyone has thought of before. My only gripe is Victor Pascow, the ghost. He is a real good Samaritan ghost, he only saw the doctor during his last moment in life and yet follows him and warns him of the dangers of using the burial ground.
Even when the doctor doesn't listen to him, Pascow then goes to the daughter and the wife of the doctor and tries to warn them about his behaviour. What's in it for him? What a selfless ghost who, for some reason, decides to follow around this family rather than anyone he knew in life for a longer, more intimate, period.
