Review of Personal Velocity (2002) by Dexter F — 18 Apr 2008

I picked up this film mostly due to the fact that I"m a Fairuza Balk fan, and I had heard about her performance and how incredible it is in this film. Let my just say that I was absolutely floored by Fairuza's performance in here--so intense, gut wrenchingly emotional, and probably her best performance on film ever.

Compares well with her performance in Imaginary Crimes, but this one was completely masterful--a character playing a complete state of shock and trying to sort it all out, while at the same time, nurturing some hitchhiker found on the road.

Brilliant film, well worth seeing for the third story.
