Review of Personal Shopper (2016) by Richard E — 29 Jun 2017
There is a scene towards the end wherein the main character is in a hotel room and she hears someone walking in on her. The audience expects a reveal or a confrontation. Instead, we get a few shots of the automatic doors in the hotel lobby opening and closing.
Next thing you know the main character is visiting friends. And we get no explanation of what went on in the hotel room. Is this supposed to be clever? Art? It's not. It's garbage, This film is a complete waste of time.
Don't bother.
