My favorite Bergam film. Persona is a mesmerizing visual collage and a postmodern study of duality. It also contains one of the most fiercely sensual scenes I have ever witnessed in a film-- despite having no actual nudity or sexual content.
Liv Ullmann is amazing. Absolutely stunning cinema.
