Review of Persona (2000) by Chase J — 27 May 2008
Deliciously experimental. There should be more films where we as an audience become titillated by a monologue about a sexual encounter, instead of a contrived sex scene. It definitely casts a spell. This is my favorite Bergman film.
Liv Ullman's face will haunt your slumber. Keep your eyes open for the erect penis during the films opening. If you blink you'll miss it. I could watch this everyday.
