Review of Persona (1966) by Andrew B — 28 Feb 2010
One of the best films ever made. I'm not going to lie, this film left me quivering. I cannot even begin to assign this a genre, or even explain the plot, without dumbing it down. This is, without a doubt, Bergman's best film.
That's saying a whole lot, since he's got the Faith Trilogy, Hour of the Wolf, Seventh Seal, and Wild Strawberries under his belt.
