Review of Persepolis (2007) by Alison O — 13 Jun 2009
Prior to seeing this animation I was a bit sketchy, to say the least, on Iranian history but this account of one Iranian woman's formative years has gone some way towards filling in the gaps in my knowledge.
Moving, humorous and shocking in turn it certainly deserves as wide an audience as it can get.
