Review of Persepolis (2007) by Andy K — 29 Oct 2009
Nothing more than a quirky history lesson - I don't think we need to be preached to about how the Iranian people have been sold out by their very own deluded despots to foreign powers. The animation is stylish in places but the black and white 'colours' grate early on and the central character Marjane is an irritating little brat who doesn't demand much sympathy despite her turbulent childhood.
