Review of Persepolis (2007) by Rex L — 29 Dec 2009
This is a very important film. It had an incredible style, but it just couldn't hold my attention very well. I thought it was a bit slow and redundant at points. That said, I am very glad this film was made.
It weaves history with a story from a little girl's childhood, and the result is a sad, but not too over-the-top account of living in a controlling religious society.
