Review of Persepolis (2007) by Erwin U — 30 Jan 2012
There are more colors in Persepolis than just black and white.
Whatâ(TM)s interesting is that Persepolis was able to backdrop more than a lot of what a single character could go through. Action, drama, comedy, name it, itâ(TM)s all in this animated film. What might be a downfall is that it has a lot of stories to tell for an hour and a half that personally I felt like watching it for more than an hour for the first half.
I believe that this film sets a far lead among other adaptation films. Part of the reason I thought, is that it was illustrated the same way you see it in the comic novel with motion as its only difference.
