Review of Persepolis (2007) by Janet N — 24 Feb 2012
The protagonist of this film goes from a life of silver spoon privilege to challenges of hardship and persecution. I can easily see why so many Americans thought it was a fine film. For myself, I HATED its poor me SELF-INDULGENCE.
It demeans the suffering of women around the world going thru torture, maiming, and execution.
