Review of Persepolis (2007) by Zachary N — 01 Mar 2012
Beautiful film. A young Iranian girl trying to find out who she really is in between all these extreme changes around her. You can also experience how tough it is for her parents and grandmother who lived a completely different life before the Revolution, to adapt to the veil and all the restrictions.
I think most of us are very fortunate to have grown up with a lot more freedom than we can handle.
