Review of Persepolis (2007) by David S — 15 May 2012
Especially poignant given the events of recent days. Iran is a nation of modern people demoralized by a crushing yoke on open society. Beautiful movie which illustrates this in an oblique way. They have a saying in Iran: If you shave off a mullah's beard you will see the words "Made In Britain".
