Review of Persepolis (2007) by Shane M — 15 May 2012
Most of my problems with the film are just that, my problems. I feel like with any "life story" movie, the focus meanders a bit, people enter and leave without really knowing who they are, but that is just like real life.
I really liked the art and animation, the use of color was minimalistic, and so was used very deliberately, although I don't fully understand the symbolism.
Recommended.
