Review of Persepolis (2007) by John C — 12 Jul 2012
Absolutely brilliant animation about the before and after of the Iranian Revolution.
Using very simple techniques and a (at least at the beginning) child's eye view of the world, this builds into a truly extraordinary story of the betrayal of the Iranian people.
I only regret not seeing it sooner and cannot recommend a film more highly than this one.
