Review of Persepolis (2007) by Daniel M — 05 Dec 2009
Once I saw this movie I made the decision of making it my favorite animated film and favorite foreign film, too. This movie is based on Persepolis, Iran's capital city, in the revolution against the Shah.
The story could not have been any better developed and the characters were very complete. I loved the story, I loved the narration, and I loved the things that took place. If you don't know any French and your primary language is Spanish, like me, or you know a very fluent Spanish I suggest you watch it in French with Spanish subtitles so you can see that they don't defer very much.
This movie has to be seen in the language it was made in, don't watch it in any language other than French. This was a very delightful experience, it was beautiful, I simply can't say enough about this movie to show the art and tremendous story that made this my favorite animated motion picture of all time for now.
I highly recommend you watch this movie!
