Review of Persepolis (2007) by Lewis P — 30 Mar 2010
Absolutely amazing! This movie was a wonderful reflection of the two part book on Marjane Satrapi's life. I also really enjoyed the animation, it was great to see that the animators stayed true to the book's with the style of the art.
My only critique or question would be; what was the reasoning behind the choice to use color in the beginning middle and ending sequences? There was never any color in the books, and I personally did not feel that it was needed to tell the story.
