Review of Persepolis (2007) by Monkey P — 07 Jan 2013
With an emotionally powerful and gripping story, terrific vocal performances and beautifully and stylishly animated in graphic black and white, reminiscent of it's autobiographical source material, Persepolis transcends from page to screen boldly and successfully and i'm sure does great justice to Marjane Satrapi's life story, and rightfully should because she co-directed it.
5/5 stars.
