Review of Persecuted (2014) by Brandon T — 16 Jul 2014
The concept of this movie is something that is truly going on today and has been for ages. It had its share of bad acting but it still kept you interested. James Remar (whom I will always know as Raiden from Mortal Kombat 2) who is a decent actor seemed to be only able to do so much which made his performance a bit stifled.
You definitely have to overlook some plot holes and implausible scenarios to get through this. Great to see Dean Stockwell again. All in all the way this movie went on and was presented, it was a bit lame and ridiculous.
Seeing films like this one seems like Faith based movies have not gotten any better or have taken a step backward. Though rest assure, there are much better produced Faith based movies out there with very well put together stories and much better acting.
