Corny but fun old-timey Disney nature film. Disney had been criticized for staging parts of their prior nature films, so this film dropped all pretense of being a documentary and instead frames the film around a Bambi-like forest animal story.

Perri is a tree squirrel who gets separated from his famiiy and has to survive on his own through all four seasons, getting chased my predators and even having to survive a forest fire. Pretty lightweight stuff, but it's never boring and my 4-year old quite enjoyed it.
