Review of Permanent Record (1988) by Kong M — 04 Aug 2008
I guessed that unlike nowadays, during the '80s teenage suicide is a rare and new topic and people had very different perceptions regarding this issue. This film is very brave to dwell upon it, and it is, surprisingly, a very thought-provoking one at it too. It is also one of those films where people move on with their lives in a positive manner and gained maturity.
With the abundance of the heart-warming moments and lessons to learn from, Since breakfast club this is probably the next best teen film in my list to date.
