Suskind's masterpiece cannot compete with the movie, but the film itself is a beautiful piece of art. The photography is absolutely flawless, the music left me breathless and I was absolutely captivated by the story of the monstrous Parisian murderer.
I absolutely recommend reading Suskind's book first and then watching the movie witch will give you an absolute exquisite aftertaste.
