Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Mark H — 10 Jun 2012
Visually driven serial killer movie that fizzles toward the end but, all in all, is quite an experience for the senses. This isn't your typical madman flick - no blood, gore, torture, or excessive violence, just an alienated man whose gift of smell engages him in capturing the perfect scent by any means possible.
You'll despise and champion for Jean-Baptiste at the same time. Though it may sound sick and perverted, I wish my TV screen had smell-o-vision.
