Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Alexander B — 06 Jan 2010
I am glad I've read the book before watching this film, otherwise I feel the viewing experience would've been incomplete. A lot of the scenes are somewhat vague and unless the viewer is familiar with the text, he or she may not understand the true intentions.
The movie differs from the book in a few ways, yet masterfully captures the essense of the story in the same way the book does. An excellent experience.
