Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Gaurav K — 19 Feb 2010
Weird tale of a man's extreme talent for and obsession with scent, and the dark places it leads him. I'd never heard of Ben Whishaw before and even though his role is very low on dialogue he's still excellent here, as are Alan Rickman and Dustin Hoffman in supporting roles.
I really liked this, I just wish I'd read the book first.
