Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Kenneth R — 11 Aug 2011
The concept of it is quite a twist on any "senses" movie. I mean how many movies can you say are about the ability to smell (besides Walk Hard =P). It starts out great and ends very strongly but it seems to have had to much in the middle, it had dragged on straddling the line of patience. I don't doubt that the book is great and can see it working well there but this is just a wee bit too long. I'm still giving a high rating though because it was still a great movie in spite of it and if it was still good after testing my patience that must mean something yeah ;).
Seriously a good movie to watch if your feeling in the mood for a longer and more serious novel-esqe movie.
