Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Anthony S — 11 Aug 2013
The mysterious, yet psychic persona of Jean-Baptiste Grenouille is definitely breathtaking; especially in the climax when he has been brought into the execution stage. However, its ending is quite unsatisfying as he just disappeared beneath the crowd of peasants who actually ate him into death.
After all, Perfume is the perfect example of novel-adapted movie.
