Review of Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) by Din J — 22 May 2011
The book is genious and though this film adaptation doesn't quite live up to it, it is still a richly rewarding movie. The subject matter clearly bothers some people and few if any have commented on the, all be it dark, comical instances.
This movie is beautifully shot in all locations and acted to the hilt. The town square scene near the end is something to behold and hard to beleive it was done live. Amazing.
