Review of Perfect Sense (2011) by Grant C — 29 Aug 2012
What happens when we lose our senses, our way of connecting with the world? This film looks at that, and despite some flaws, I have to say this film made me feel great about life in the end. It made me appreciate my ability to only physically see and touch but it also made me appreciate my emotions and how they are also our way of connecting with our world.
It is a film that tries really hard to bring home some very good statements, one of them being that no matter how bad things get, we will always find way to adapt, move on and enjoy our lives.
Despite some comedic moments that weren't supposed to be funny, and the feeling that maybe it was too hopeful about humanity, I think this is a rather good film that is at least worth renting.
