Review of Perfect Creature (2007) by Bruce W — 20 Oct 2007
Just a shame really, all the set up is good, first twenty minutes I wondered why people had been putting it down last seventy minutes I experienced why. Felt like a lot of story had been cut for the sake of making it 90 minutes.
Way too much sped up footage (always a weak device) and the most anti-climatic climatic fight scene ever (when in doubt everyone should pull out a convenient steam gun). Blade still stands up as the better Vampire defending humans example.
.. I did quite like Dougray though, sadly he was stuck in a role that only allowed for one facial expression... Scott Wills however is better saved for simpleton roles his grizzled cop was painful.
