Review of Perfect Combination (2010) by Fascade F — 04 Sep 2010
*1/2 (out of four).
Earnest attempt at making a low budget relationship movie geared towards successful African-Americans living in Los Angeles. But the film always feels like a student film project.
Christian Keyes plays a handsome, successful black man living in L.A., but he is unable to find the right woman...or any woman at all. He decides to join a dating service to meet Ms. Right.
Most of the acting is pretty amateurish and the video quality is distracting. It's also hard to believe that the main character really has such a hard time with woman. He is too smooth, too good-looking, and too successful in business. It just doesn't add up.
