Great things about the movie:

1. The designs of the Colchis bull, Hippokampos, Charybdis's stomach, and Kronos are wonderful.

2. The score is beautiful.

3. The concept of the Graeae is interesting.

4. The Greek mythological aspects are entertaining.

Weaknesses of the movie:

1. The visual effects need improvement.

2. The action scenes look fake.

3. The characters are very lucky and everything is too simple.

4. The storytelling is weak.

5. The characters' motivation, roles, and actions are weak.

The most powerful being in the universe was Percy Jackson, because he could control water, even more powerful than other demigods, no other creatures beside him and Poseidon have superpower. Everyone could barely fight, but Percy could fight very well, was very lucky, knew everything at the right time. The camp training was useless, it could not protect anyone nor train its campers. However, for someone as powerful as Percy, he was relying on his sword rather than his power, which could have easily solved any problems he encountered.

Debatable holes:

1. How could the camp be the only safe place on earth for half-bloods? It was so convenient that it was in USA.

2. Half-bloods were children of gods, but what about other creatures, like centaur and satyr?

3. The campers mostly looked like humans, with only about 4 non-human-like creatures (2 satyrs and 2 centaurs).

4. Why was the camp considered safe? Was it only because of the barrier or because there were protectors? Who could not come in? Those who would hurt the campers like the minotaur? Percy's mom did not hurt them but she could not enter. On the other hand, Hades could enter it in the first movie.

5. Why did everyone think Tyson was weird?

6. How could Tyson's clothes not burned?

7. How could the camp be considered safe before the barrier was created?

8. How could the centaurs change into human form? Could Grover not do the same?

9. If the minotaur could destroy the barrier so easily, then it should have been destroyed long time ago.

10. How could anybody know about the camp and its location?

11. How did Luke know about the prophecy?

12. How did Luke know about the poison for Thalia?

13. What was the teleportation device that Luke used? Where did he get them?

14. It was convenient that Percy and friends were near one of Hermes' offices.

15. It was extremely lucky that Hermes himself was in the shop.

16. It was extremely convenient that Hermes was very kind and helpful.

17. How could Percy be the only child of Poseidon?

18. It was very lucky that Luke's ship was visible and accessible by Percy and friends.

19. No one of Luke's men saw Percy and friends were coming to the ship.

20. Why did Luke's men put Percy's bag near the cell?

21. The wave that Percy created to take his bag should have awakened the Manticore.

22. No one was guarding Percy and friends in the cell.

23. When Percy and friends were arriving at the ship, it was sunset. A few minutes later, it was dark. A few minutes later, it was already the next morning.

24. How could Percy defeat all Luke's mean so easily?

25. How could Percy and Luke walk on water?

26. It was so convenient that Hermes gave them the perfect tools. Were they prophesied?

27. Percy and Annabeth always knew random knowledge at the perfect time.

28. Where was the Charybdis after they got out of it?

29. The map vision of Percy was very convenient. It happened at the perfect time.

30. Why did the zombies not join Percy and friends at Circeland?

31. Why did the camp only send Clarisse and Ichneutae for the quest?

32. How did magic work in that universe?

33. Polyphemus should have killed/eaten Percy and friends, even if he was very fool.

34. Polyphemus should have been able to push the rock that blocked him from Percy and friends.

35. How did Luke get to Circeland by themselves? 36. Again, no one was guarding Percy and friends when Luke was summoning Kronos. 37. How could Percy's sword be cursed? How could it be the 'cursed sword'? How could it defeat Kronos extremely easily? 38. How could Grover and Luke survive without any injuries at all after Kronos ate them? 39. How could Tyson see when he wore sunglasses? His one eye should have been blocked. 40. How could Tyson have all the clothes when he was from the woods? 41. Why was Tyson not a giant cyclops? 42. Could Tyson control water? 43. Why was Percy dependent on the sword where he could actually control water? 44. Was Percy the only special demigod? 45. It was very convenient that Thalia could be save from the tree extremely easily.
