Review of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) by Gavin C — 19 Aug 2013
The movie had a great start but the character development too implausible and story too campy. Allusions to Star Wars Luke Skywalker as Luke the son of Hermes and light saber as lightening of Zeus was interesting but wish movies like these for kids can focus on history of Greece and its great philosophies rather than the mythos of the gods and their wars.
