Firstly, the black guy was annoying and not likeable, Percy was miscast and the girl was an odd character. It also took too long start. The camp scenes in the beginning could've been made into one movie and them finding the pearls scenes would've been better off in a sequel. This movie was just squeezed into two hours, hence the awkward structure of it.
Nice concepts, but awful structure, forgetful characters & terrible CGI.
