Review of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010) by Samantha E — 02 Jan 2014

I've watched this movie back in 2010 at the cinema and I loved it back then I guess, because I rated it 4/5. I saw the sequel coming out this year so I re-watched this movie because I hardly remembered anything about it.

The movie was alright and did have some cool special effects. I've never read the books, but I'm sure the movie does not live up to the book. I found the story okay and not so special. It was pretty predictable and had some of those unexplained moments which were annoying.

The cast was average. Their performances were okay and nothing more than that. I thought Logan Lerman's wasn't that good compared to the others.

Now I rate it 3/5 because the movie is average.
