Being a huge fan of the books, I was very excited to see this movie. However I felt it did not live up to the book's standards. I couldn't believe all the things they changed. I understand movies don't always follow the books exactly, but this one changed too much.
They left out many important characters and ideas I had very much enjoyed in the book. While I found the movie dull and cheesy, people who haven't read the books seem to find it quite entertaining.
