While I must agree with the NY Times Movie review vis a vis the big reveal which comes past the point when the audience really even cares the ensemble cast mostly works and kudos to Michelle Pffeifer for looking so schlumpy and frumpy in this non glamourous aging boomer mother role of the lead character.
As always the choice of the sassy kid, Josh does help carry the story along to it's fairly predictable conclusion. I'll go with a thumbs sideways on this summer flick.
