This Movie is such a breath of Fresh air. That only 50% of our so called movie Critics liked it and only 62% of the audiences (admitted they) liked It says more than anything I could ever say. The horrific state of movies today where blood, gore, sex and computer graphics masqerade as entertainment to the delight and support of critics and audiences, we watch bewildered and depressed as movie after movie makes little sense, offers little entertainment, cheapens us by deadening our emotions and de-sensitizing adnauseum.
People like us tells a real story, with real emotions, with characters who make sense. The movie is full of, no pun intended, People Like us who make mistakes, behave selfeshly, lovingly, angrily, wishfully, live their lives doing the best they can do, playing the hand they were dealt and cherishing their family through thick and thin.
. Great acting (elizabeth banks is amazing) by all, great directing and obviously Producers who had way more commmon sense then the critics and a lot of the audiences. This movie shoud be ...is... A classic.
