Total waste of time. I didn't get anything out of this movie. The lead character is a sad, depressing figure and there is no decent plot to be found. Nothing happens! Except Pacino being a sad, depressing, boozing, broken man.
And they even kill him in the end. Yay. He complains about his life throughout the film and then they kill him. He gets absolutely nothing done. I don't get this movie. Why even make such a useless thing? No wonder I had never heard about it before.
Nobody ever should! Thank the heavens for the technology of fast forwarding.
