A fun but definitely flawed film. The new characters are a bore and just feel like placeholders just so that the Penguins can do things. The Penguins are still charming, but given the fact that it has a "been there, done that" plot, it feels tiring and predictable as well (Not to mention that it also borrows elements from Despicable Me 2).
It's also, in my opinion, too fast paced and doesn't really care about anything else other than the Penguins. Small children will be able more enjoyment of this one.
