Full on, fast paced, frenetic action. By the time it was finished, I'd had enough. The kids in the cinema loved it - and it is primarily for kids that this movie is made, in my opinion. There are a few subtle jokes for the adults, but not really enough to sustain adult interest.

But if you are looking for something to take your kids to watch during the holidays, then this is a good candidate. The animation is great and looks good in 3D. The penguins are loveable in their own bizarre ways and are voiced well.

A zippy, fun filled romp.
