Review of Penguins of Madagascar (2014) by Joe I — 30 Mar 2015
While never being a fan of the Madagascar series as a whole, the penguins were always in the bits I enjoyed the most from what I saw. The series is defiantly one of those that got better as it went along.
The movies found their tone in the world and this spin off proves it. To be clear, I became a fan of these guys that I watched the television spin off on Nickelodeon. The humor in this film leans more towards the movie universe of clever word play mixed in with the fewer sight gags.
Thought was put into those jokes and I got to say as a an that the penguins can hold a movie on their own and at 26 years old can still make me chuckle and call something clever.
