Review of Pelé: Birth of a Legend (2016) by Jason M — 13 Aug 2016
This film is light fare for a simple-focused audience. This is as unpretentious as one can imagine. There is no complexity to the characters and the majority of the plot seems embellished. Overacted, overdramatized and overindulgent in trying to creating a superhero from a mere mortal.
Most of the scenes are cheesy. The film is more appropriate for the "made-for tv market".
