Review of Peggy Sue Got Married (1986) by Marie T — 05 Apr 2009
A nice low-key comedy from the great Francis Ford Coppola, his first box-office hit since "Apocalypse Now". Peggy Sue faints during a high school reunion and wakes up in her teens. And she gets another chance at a life that she has come to regret.
While keeping the tone lighthearted, Coppola elicits a wonderful sense of nostalgia and also ponders questions of fate and choice.
