Review of Peggy Sue Got Married (1986) by Paul D — 18 Sep 2010
Passable high-school time-travel fable, like Groundhog Day meets Back to the Future only not nearly as good or as funny as those movies. It's a clever idea but not enough is done with it. Nicolas Cage is hilarious in this - so much so that I couldn't take a single one of his scenes even slightly seriously - you know, kind of like most of his movies only here it's on purpose.
Where the heck did he get that voice? There are a lot of stars but you don't see much out of anyone except the two leads.
