Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by Christophe M — 02 Apr 2010
I watched this film because many claim it is better than "Psycho". It`s not. For one thing it is too long and lacks tension which is so important in films like this. Bohm was a bit of a flat actor. His German accent was ridiculously there despite being an Englishman. And I just did not see depth in his role. And that last scene was just ridiculous.
But, the direction was very good, mostly just those fine details. And I really liked looking through the killer`s eyes.
