Review of Peeping Tom (1960) by Paul N — 19 Jun 2010
Despite its provocative ideas, Powell's once-seminal work is too tedious, poorly acted & laughably melodramatic to horrify or be in any way effective today. A film that plays better in theory than actual practice; even terms of examinations of Film as Voyeurism that actually work within the genre they're playing in, this film is absolutely owned by REAR WINDOW & PSYCHO.
